Before starting my journey with Reiki, I would like to tell you something about myself and my health.
As a child I was always drawn towards magic, mystic powers, mind power etc. but had no one to explain so I just forgot about it as I progressed in life.
I started working in Dec' 1999 as a structural designer and got married in Feb'2007. My son came into this world on 10th Jan'2008. My life was going easily and I was happy with my family.
Suddenly around Oct'2009 I started feeling pain in my feet. After some medication it was gone.
In Jan'2010 in the age of 29 years I was diagnosed with Diabetes, and in subsequent tests there were so many irregularities shown. I was having backache, headaches, chest pain and pain in my lever.
Doctors put me on medicines. But I was not satisfied. I was constantly feeling that something is missing. But what? I had no answer.
There was no improvement in my condition. Although the pains were manageable but continuous. I turned towards alternative medicines. Homeopathy was suggested by a friend of mine. I visited a doctor, started the course of medicines. The result was same. I started looking for some other medications.
Someone told me to visit a vaidh in a village around 100 km from my place. He gave me some herbs to take the juice of it every week and some other herbs for to be taken every day for 9 weeks. I did so but no improvement. Sugar levels were still high and the pains continued.
I started searching the internet for healing methods. Thus began my search.
This was the starting perhaps life wanted me to learn something new.
